...well, ok, he won't, because logic isn't his strong point.

Frankly, I don't think they'd do this. Too much effort. More likely they gave her the leavings of their own goat dinner and just told her it was her child. Which of course isn't any better at all.

    Nasty little ****ers.

It's puzzling that ISIS revels in cruelty, when you'd think they would attract more combatants and more acceptance in the territories they occupied if they cultivated more of a "good guy" image.

A reputation for extreme and often bizarre brutality may attract psychopathic nutters to their ranks and give them a psychological edge in combat, and from their standpoint there must be something to be said for that. But surely their leaders must realise their harshness discredits fundamentalist Islam and that alienating everyone will inevitably mean they are eventually crushed, as it appears they are being.

I believe it was set up and is controlled from behind the scenes (or was at the outset) by ex-officers from Saddam Hussein's Mukhabarat. So maybe it has been some long-running black op to actually discredit the idea of militant Islamism, implausible though that sounds.

Unfortunately terror has a long and ignoble pedigree as a tool for control.

unfortunately they are so far apart even comparing them is difficult.

Judging by a number of propaganda videos shot in high definition of beheadings, drownings, blowing people up with missile launchers, having children shoot and stab people, set people on fire, drawn & quarter people, then yes, I'd believe it.

So you can't compare it to a court sanctioned execution for adultery or homosexuality?

Saudi Arabia are the friends of Tories, you can't say anything bad about them. Tory voters support them and their legal executions.

There is a difference between meeting dogs because they are the heads of state that the UK legally trades with and cuddling up with them for a pay packet.

I expect the Government to meet with the Saudis, Chinese (those nice communists that shoot prisoners), Russians (who like to beat up gays) etc as they are legal states.

Corbyn attacks the government for dealing with Saudi like the last 20 governments. May & Co haven't met with Hezbollah a prohibited organisation. They aren't anti semites or pro IRA.
