I think I prefer the daily deals, especially with the mobile app.
20% off at the warehouse does mean there are things worth looking at.

Missed out on a Ryzen 7 1700 processor for £210 but got a 4tb NAS hard disk for £85.

Nest camera on sale if you use Nest. Might be worth it, but I don't have Prime.

Had a quick perusal but nothing on my 'got to have that' list in the sale.

For those Hive/Nest solutions, saw an advert last night for one (Hive I think) where the guy turns off the lights and tv using his smartphone so he doesn't disturb his kid sleeping on his chest. Was surprised to see they charge a monthly subscription so you can control your own stuff in your own home*. Seems like a mugs game to me unless there's other benefits they didn't point out in the advert.

          * Just get an X10 kit and do the same for a one off fee.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

Which is better echo dot plus Bose speaker, or Amazon Echo?

I need another radio hence may as well get one of these.

This is my problem with the Honeywell EvoHome range... it looks the most complete system but to control via your phone, you have to go via their servers.

Probably the Bose option but I don't you can get a Bose speaker for £45 so the Echo is the better bet.

I just can't get used to not having a display to show me what I'm doing. I'll pick one up for fun though..

With Dot with Bose speaker is £150, but Amazon Echo £70.

Id say the bose speaker is going to be better than the speaker in the echo. That said the echo sounds pretty good. The google home speakers can be grouped like sonos ones can. Also, google were doing a promotion where you could get a free chromecast or chromecast audio with them, so you can use them to cast to a TV or hifi
