Brussels police opened fire on a car packed with explosives after a high-speed chase through the suburb of Molenbeek.

Shots were fired at the vehicle after it became stuck in traffic and the driver reversed into a police car.

Police cordoned off the area and told residents to remain indoors while military units checked for explosives.
Probably a brexiteer upset with JC's drinks tab.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Did the police get the car or is it still on the loose full of explosives?

Yes, they got the car, but no there never were any explosives in it (as all media outlets apart from the Daily Mail have reported from 13 hours ago)

So basically someone jumped a red light, and it made the front page of the Daily Mail.

          I'm alright Jack

Brussels: Police Open Fire on Car Allegedly With Explosives | Time.com
Police in Brussels have opened fire on a car they believed was filled with explosives.

Shots were fired after a high-speed chase through the suburb of Molenbeek when the car went through a red light and refused to stop for a police check.

              close enough.

FTFY. Those little details are important.

In the current climate jumping a red light and not stopping when the police tell you to is going to get a very aggressive response.

And so is really not a clever idea.

Ultimately even if the car was not filled with explosives/terrorists etc you can be pretty sure it was not being driven by someone with a clear rap sheet.

By the time you'd posted the story, all the other sources had already been saying for at least 3 hours that there were no explosives
