    The actual court order.

    Key points -

The child's maternal grandmother is a non practicising muslim
The child's mother says she is of Christian Heritage
    The child's father is AWOL
The change of carer to the child's grandmother was not because of any problem with the current placement
The grandmother will be taking the child back to her country of origin
The grandmother required the documents to be interpreted.

The only conclusion I can draw, is that the reporting of the case was extremely biased.

Read into that what you will.
What do you read into it?

I read that a judge did their job and delivered a judgement in the best interests of the child, based on knowing the full facts of the case and not just a few headlines.

    Nothing tbh

As I said earlier in the post this is just a one off which got picked up by the media.

As long as the child is okay that's all that really matters.

Yes, they and their readers like to have the hatred ramped up to 11.

BTW, the original picture is a stock photo from Gettyimages which you'll find tagged with happy family Dubai.

Sure, talk about it, but don't hide from the bits that challenge your beliefs.
You know, like the part where the story claimed the Muslim family didn't speak English, which in some people's eyes was a disgrace (whether true or not), but when the child is then sent to live with their grandmother (who doesn't speak English) and who takes the child out of the UK, well that's no issue at all.

Your double standards are incredible... just the norm for you.

    And the aftermath

Times distorted Muslim foster case, regulator finds - BBC News

The press regulator has ruled the Times "distorted" its coverage of a five-year-old Christian girl who was placed with Muslim foster carers.
The newspaper ran three front-page stories in August 2017 after the girl was removed from her mother's care by Tower Hamlets council in east London.
It said foster carers stopped her eating bacon, confused her by speaking Arabic, and removed a crucifix.
A Times executive acknowledged the story caused "enormous offence".
