Mother Teresa - 20th Anniversary Of Death

Later known as Saint Teresa of Calcutta.

20 years ago today she passed away. No fanfare however - no programmes on C4/C5 bigging her up, interviewing butlers, nannies, security guards.

    Continue RIP.

So why are there no programs on the 20th Anniversary of her death?

Nobody could work out a way to make a shed load of cash from it.

There typically aren't programmes on the 20th anniversary of someone's death. You're asking the wrong question.

because she glorified poverty rather than fix it?

because they changed the rules on sainthood at a time when most bishops appeared to be either raping children, or covering up for the ones that were doing it. Nothing like a good sainting to bury bad news eh.
