    I survived Storm Aileen

Have to admit, there was a risk of my knickers being flashed when the stiff breeze went up my skirt.

It was bad but I think we will pull through. The worst was the rain which caused extensive 1 inch deep puddles and has resulted in many people getting wet shoes.
    I'm alright Jack

Oh dear, that guy I saw in Hammersmith from my car on the Talgarth Road last year will be having a hard time again.

He was walking his Jack Russell, and the dog would stop in its tracks at every puddle, no matter how small, and refuse point blank to continue. The guy would then have to lift it over the puddle, after which it would trot along happily until it reached the next puddle, and so on. It was the funniest thing you ever saw.

A broken pane of greenhouse glass, that I had leaned up against a wall with the intention of throwing it out, blew over and broke into smaller pieces, making it easier to dispose of
An empty watering can blew onto the top lawn
Maybe 20 apples came off the trees.

Apart from that, all OK here. Boris Johnson is due to visit soon to explain the way forward.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

The only woman oPM knows is his mum, so don't engage too much, or he'll get the wrong idea.
