    In the 2015 election if it hadn't been for our BS first past the post system and instead proportional representation was adopted, UKIP would've had a worrying number of seats. That's what a significant (12.6%) of people wanted, yet they got one MP in parliament. Works really well this system does.

    EDIT: Should add I am not a UKIP supporter!

    It works to keep the Tories in power most of the time, which is its purpose.

    Hardly. It works to give Labour more seats than its fair share (see: Boundary Changes)

    That is not the purpose of the FPP electoral system. Boundaries will favour different parties at different times.
