    Yes, it's comes under "Insects which are harmful to plants and plant products" (Directive 2000/29/EC)

    It's body is similar in colour to a four spot orb weaver (a UK native species), except it doesn't have the 4 spots. Size wise, it was just over 1cm across the body (slightly under 1/2")
