"You'd get to soak up the atmosphere in their modern office" - Job Advert

Got to laugh at this one. Personally I'd rather soak up the atmosphere or whatever lying on a beach or doing something nice. Not often I get excited about sitting in the office.

I must be getting old. I had an email yestarday about a job with 3 out of 4 weeks in Mauritius (perm, no salary quoted), and I just thought, if you'd offered me that 20 years ago, when I didn't have a wife and commitments, but I did still have my looks and charm, I'd have thought about it for about four and a half milliseconds and bitten your bloody hand off.
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

Ha ha - of course generally I like to soak up the ambience of the job centre.
