Anyhow it turns out it was not porn and not illegal. Nude adult pictures."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

Unless there are pictures of me of course - then DG should resign.
IMO DD should resign anyway. Clearly DG has some dirt on him.
They don't seem able to say it is his computer, I suspect soon a junior staffer will fall on his Dildo & get a cushy job at some large corporate.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment

So what, an MP looked at some porn over three months on his work laptop. A few thousand thumbnails means he's gone on to a few websites. It's all legal.
It's a slap on the wrist, it's not like he's touched a fellow colleague on the knee and given her a wink for gods sake, in that case he should be burnt at the stake. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

Indeed.
People seriously need to get a grip and understand the difference between things that are legal and things that maybe you think other people should not do.
I always love the ones about porn as everyone gets all high and mighty about it - when you know they are going to home, wait for the missus to go out and then wank like crazy to some bigger boobed milf.Comment

Personally, I'm much more bothered about the fact that the creep appears to have hit on the daughter of some friends, suggesting a rosy future in the Tory Party in return for shags. Not the first old lech to abuse his position, I know, but not a characteristic which is acceptable in a Deputy Prime Minister.
Porn on a work computer? Well, I don't care about it much personally, but I reckon that would be a dismissable offence anywhere that I've worked.Comment
