Kicking Off on the Train

Last night on the tube some woman started touching me while grabbing a hand rail. I gave her a hard stare.

Then someone touched my paper - pointing to something on the floor. It was not mine but belonged to the lady next to me. She tried to bend to pick it up. Could not reach. I picked it up - travel card or wallet. I handed it over and she snatched it like MrsBP does when I give her a tenner. Not a word of thank you or anything.

Fecking <insert name of female dog>

Clearly she wasn't beaten enough as a child when she showed lack of common courtesy.

The Jubilee line from waterloo to Canary Wharf can be quite amusing. They have a queing system to get on and you get your chancers who pretend they don't understand how it works and do the gradual edging thing to try and get an elbow/shoulder in for when the train arrives. The suspense and tension while the train is arriving and you know it's going to be a 'me or them' situation is quite something. Especially as you know they are all bankers and 'stepping on people to get to where they need to go' is what they live for.

It's hard to find a balance between not being too overly assertive yourself and actually getting on a train...
