Already had a contract running until end Feb which will most likely get extended, but as we were expanding the team and I was going to land up having to manage some people I asked for a rate increase to reflect it. Lo and behold, just got a rate increase of £100 per day, backdated to the beginning of December!!!

    Happy New Year.

Never realised there was so much money in sledges, particularly with the lack of snow around at the moment.

Congrats MF, I'm sure your management style has improved since the days when your idea of a quiet word was a right hook. Or was that only me?

It's the 1970s anymore, I can't punch the blokes and slap the birds on the arse, it's no longer PC. I've now learned how to hire Polish thugs to come round and give someone a slap, and worked out how to hack the girls facebook accounts so I can post the pictures on revenge porn sites.

Got to move with the times Mordy, got to move with the times.

Congratulations. £101 per day is pretty high for your skill level.

To be fair, they're all smiling. There's a lot to be said for manual jobs where you arrive at 9 and a leave at 5 without any care for your role whatsoever.
