We need articulate men to talk about these issues that are not nutter or self serving. I don't know much about this prof guy so can't say if he is self serving or not.
Well he was/is in the country to sell his book, and get publicity for it. But then thats the case for a lot of such interviewees.

But he has put his neck on the line, and stuck his head above the parapet, on multiple issues, mostly motivated it seems by real in depth understanding of the science behind how the brain works, and so on, and what that science tells us versus the assumptions of the liberal elite.

So on balance he is a great guy for saying what a lot of people think, but have not had the time to research the detail like he has.

I am concerned about the gender pay gap between mods.

      cojak(F) - 100 groats a month
      NAT(M) - 1000 groats a month
      WTFH(T) - 10000 groats a month

Of course adding the performance related 50 groats per banning day, 1 groat per infraction changes things....

Does sound a bit like a nutter though
Not watched the interview, but the quoted piece piece looks like poetry/philosophy to me, not nuttery, but is taken out of context in any respect.

I found it quite interesting when they talked about men running the top 100 ftse companies. The interviewer was trying to split it down into a men/female issue. But as the prof said it's only a very small specific set of men that can do this. It's a bit like basketball, how come its tall men that dominate basketball, why is it so against short men.

Anyway, I found it an interesting interview and would have liked to know a bit more, just wish the interviewer was a bit better on this interview.

I've had a look at Facebook posts of this interview just to see what kind of comments are coming from who and pleased to see a lot of women complaining about the interviewer trying to put words into his mouth and use shaming tactics to shut him up.

It's really nice to see the pushback against radical feminism/leftism going mainstream now - from both genders. Hopefully we can start moving forward and evolving to a place where traditional gender roles are still fine and people have equal opportunities to pursue whatever fulfillment they choose.

The way this guy handles being attacked, is immune to any kind of manipulation, refuses to get drawn into any emotional drama, sticks to his point and firmly but un-aggressively makes his point is textbook 'alpha'.

Jordan Peterson is really really good

he hit the "youtube scene" a couple of years ago when he spoke about against Canada's gender pro-noun hate speech laws

he warned against it as he recognised the post modernist ideology being implemented and impinging on free speech, from there he talks about the dangers of this ideology and where it leads in terms of imprisonment in socialist gulags for thought crimes

he's also very interesting on the evolutionary benefit of religion, did a couple of podcasts with Sam Harris has done a raft of others, worth listening too (once you get passed the accent)

I found the whole Cathy Newman interview thing fascinating (which I'd coincidentally watched this morning before finding this thread). It makes you wonder how she (and others like Diana Abbott) managed to get into Oxbridge.

This winds me up no end. The focus is always on the men at the top, but how about the men at the bottom? Why are 95% of people in prison male? Why is suicide the biggest cause of death in young men? Why are young men performing much worse than girls at educational attainment? Why has a generation of young men been thrown on the scrapheap as apprenticeships have been axed? Why is it our young men who get sent off to fight and die on foreign battlefields? Why are young men becoming ever more despondent and dependent on drugs?

The warriors always focus on the men at the top. It would be nice if a fraction of this energy was put into fighting for the men at the bottom.

Yeah I also think a lot of women are getting a bit sick of it all the moaning about inequality when it's clear that a lot of men are suffering and not doing well.
