More on pushback from Kelly Brook

The former Formula One flag girl said that feminists who want to get rid of the tradition of the scantily clad girls were “taking away women’s rights” in an opinion piece for The Sun.

She said: “It’s probably not even occurred to these PC campaigners that the women might actually like the work”.

Ms Brook hit back at claims that the job “demeaned women”, writing: “These walk-on girls are intelligent women — a lot are probably trying to pay for their college or university education”.
I'm with Kelly on this one.

It makes sense. If you can't be bothered reading something that might challenge your viewpoint, that says a lot about you.

F1 hasn't been interesting since Senna was alive.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

Stuff like this really winds me up.

FWIW, if the full terms of the job are made clear up front and the person doing the job is happy with those terms then it doesn't matter what the job is and everyone else should damn well keep their beaks out.

I haven't watched F1 in years but that's because it became boring, not because I'm offend that some pretty girls chose to be on display to millions of people worldwide and are getting to travel the world holding up placards and umbrellas.

I'd rather they hadn't got rid of the grid girls, they are professionals being paid to do a job - no different from anyone else in the paddock from cleaners to the drivers.

But in this PC-gone-mad world we live in, I can see Liberty didn't really have a choice once some hairy feminist climbed atop her soap box.

And it's no different from introducing the Halo, as soon as it had been designed and tested, it was inevitably going to end up on the cars. The sport couldn't survive the fall-out if it had been shelved and driver was killed by debris it would have stopped.

The sooner the agreements and deals Bernie put in place end the better. Only then will Liberty be able to start putting right the fundamentals of the sport. Broadcast rights, major technical regulations, races in the arse-end of nowhere. These are the major issues with F1 right now, and they're all ones that were signed off by that cretin before he took his cash and legged it.

They should take this a bit further and ban everything that involves women providing services predominantly to men, especially to men who are past their twenties.
Some professions come to mind. Escorts, waitresses, massage providers, etc.

Has anyone else noticed how sportswomen dress? Running reams from the Olympics come to mind. In the name of equality men should run and jump without shirts i¡on.

but that's the point, they're not.
