Ahhh, the baby boomers. Those who benefitted from things like apprenticeships and final salary pensions then abolished them for everyone else once they attained positions of power. Don'tchajustluvem?

And as for Corbyn - my money's going out of this country and into a flat in Cannes/Nice/Antibes before the socialists can get their hands on it. I think it was Greece or Cyprus a couple of years ago: the government just took half of everything over 85K that people had in the bank. No ifs, no buts, an overnight raid. They just took it. And does anyone doubt that Corbyn and Mcdonnell would like to do the same? Every labour government runs out of money and this lot will completely screw this country up in double-quick time.

You want to buy in France because you're worried about socialists. Just think on that for a few minutes.

              Oh, it's so unfair.

Sheesh, what bunch of whiners the younger generation are. Things change. Not alawys for the better. Suck it up. Could be worse, you could be enjoying a nice middle class life in Syria and then find yourself in the middle of a civil war.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Well their children will inherit all of the boomers' wealth, so if they were not such a bunch of whining needy layabouts they would be well placed to be even better off still.

Of course that might involve them bucking their natural trend and putting a bit of effort in.

But instead they would rather just sit and prevaricate noisily when this is pointed out to them, preferring to fritter their money away on gap years, tattoos, body piercing, frothy coffee, effeminate beards, and flavoured vapours!

What wealth? They're squandering the lot on cardigans, 60's themed nights and haemorrhoid ointments.

                      Utter nonsense.
You, OwlTooty and Xogothicarchitecture are ripe pickings for the various FakeNews outlets, as you try to construct an obscure picture of the world based on gossip and your own imaginings.

Their constant drivel is only indicative of a lack of robust character. These idiots read panicked attention clickbait headlines, can barely even recall the genuine figures and then take the time to reference them forevermore. I'm surprised it's directly combatted so infrequently throughout this forum.

"Half your savings are being taken!" versus the true minimal figure of 6.75% or 9.9%:

"People with less than 100,000 euros in their accounts will have to pay a one-time tax of 6.75%, Eurozone officials said, while those with greater sums will lose 9.9%."
