There again, a clear win for either side and especially if they get the US Senate as well, and a massive stimulas package will be coming, and shares will no doubt fly.

Nothing to do with a chart though.

FTSE doing well today, but its still in a Bear market currently.

If that is true why did I risk so much money?

Because demo trading accounts are available to cretins too.

          Either because

          a) you're thick and let charts lead your life

          or

          b) you're thick and you're only doing all this in a fantasy game account

          I don't have a c) option

Because you are a brainwashed know-it-all who will end up a bankrupt in a year or two.

That I can't get my head around.

(Suspending disbelief for a moment that the $250k put ever existed)

The fact that you had to roll it over, to extend the expiration date from end of Oct to end of Nov, means it was already a failed trade. Chances are it could still end up worthless.

                  ---------------

I have no issue with people using charts to trade the financial markets. However, most professional traders recognise that charts can only, at best, give you a slight edge. You seem to think they have magical predictive powers.

Only someone who thought charts were magic, or a reckless gambler, would spunk $250k on an OTM option.
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

He still won't get the message and will most likely misattribute something (not) said by Gandhi in response.
