And yet we are all supposed to be bowled over by his wisdom and money making acumen.

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. A deluded gambler throwing good money after bad.
He keeps bumping the thread and people react. He's now getting his kicks by the number of pages in the thread - definitely a case of quantity over quality. Ignore him and he'll fade away. Keep responding and his ego will refuse him to understand how everyone sees him as a prize idiot.

I like to talk through my own ideas with what I consider to be mostly an intelligent group of peers.

We can move to the other thread if people want, or stop posting investment thoughts altogether?

Why not start a new investments thread where it's not all about one idiot and his exaggerated ego. This thread is about a stock market crash that is not coming - your thread can be about investments where hopefully there can be some interesting conversations. I'm certainly interested in some of the posters ideas on here, but frankly bored of pointless graphs that are proved time and again to be wrong.

We can leave this thread to doommongers. It will die off in no time at all however often it gets bumped.

I can see why ignoring people who call you out and prove you to be a liar, and a poor stock picker, would help your fragile ego

Problem is, if you do it for all the posters on here who think the same way you really will be talking to yourself. Hold that thought, that's not such a bad idea

              As you were.

Fair enough, forgot about that. I rarely venture outside General these days, only popping into the other areas infrequently. I will have a look in there now, thanks for the heads up

Are charts allowed? Or will I be breaking eggshells?

Lloyds / Pearson / BT - they all look great right now in the macro sense.

It’s more about general investing. Using charts is specialised. Why not create your own thread and then its up to everyone else to whether they contribute(or even view it) or not.

Edited: Thinking about it..start a thread..put graphs of Lloyds, Pearson, and BT up there and tell us why you think they will do great, and why AliBABA and Square Inc will do crap, plus anything else you want of course.

At least people can focus on that rather than the FTSE which isn’t going to crash anytime soon lets face it.
