The natives cost less or make less debt, whoever you would want to put it.

There is absolutely no economic advantage in mass migration to this country.

and there are currently 1.47m people unemployed . . . shouldn't they get first dibs on these 88k jobs?

now if they don't have the right skills that the market demands then by all mean look to import them through (controlled) migration
So you expect to attract skilled labor - the "good" kind of immigrants according to the anti-immigration folks, by not allowing them to bring their families with them? Good luck.

Local population is on same if not favorable terms when competing for jobs - they have history in the UK and know the job market. So you can say they kinda have the first dibs on jobs.

Skilled labor is not cattle to be imported at will when you have demand for a specific skill, and chug them out when the demand goes down.

True, but when will some people learn? All this "economic advantage" carp spouted by useful idiots distracts from the real reason politicians can't seem to get a grip on immigration.

They don't want to stem it, because it is all about the political advantage of establishing a compliant and (they hope) grateful voter block. Sadly, the Tories are almost as guilty as Labour in this.

But if Agent Cob and the Quartermaster's Labour get in the floodgates will be opened wider than ever, and any indigenous (or previous immigrant) mugs who vote for them will get all they deserve.

What are you basing your calculations on?

Not every advantage has to be economic, it can be quality of life improvement, like having a foreign "slave" to make you a sandwich or clean your toilet.

And why would that be "great" exactly?

To prove that uncontrolled EU migration was not valid reason for "B-word", given the fact that the majority of the number will be substituted with supposedly controlled migration for elsewhere.

You voted for closer connections to the commonwealth, but forgot there is nothing left to plunder from them anymore, just immigrants.

Volunteering, altruism, voting, trust, size of social groups are all lower in diverse communities.

In every way multiculturalism has been a failure.
