Less than 500 posts on here, YANCOTBAC.

    Get back to permieland.

However I found Osaka a nicer place than Tokyo.

I look forward to your all knowing and likely sarcastic and unhelpful reply.

I think Tarkovsky filmed the famous highway scene from the origial 'Solaris' movie (Salyaris) in Osaka. Film buffs have mused in great detail about the signifance of this as a mese-en-scene with great meaning and statement illustrating the relative freedoms on the West (or Japan in this case) compared by Eddie Waring to the oppressivness of the Soviet Union.

Turns out it was cos they were at a film festival, had a camera, went for a ride on the freeway with it and just plonked it in the film.

      Arty-farty film buffs, eh??

I only got the Kyoto station as some moody Italians nicked my camera, so I went back to Osaka to sulk. And get pi$$ed.

I think I'll live in the centre, yes I went last year to visit a friend which inspired me to look into it.

I've spent very little of my time working. But that's not what my timesheets say.
