If you can't drive in the snow; stay at home!

They’ll need a run-up. Driving in snow isn’t BMWs’ strongest suit.

Why don't people in the UK have snow chains? They're not expensive and may be never used, but if you do need them, they can get you out of trouble.
Hmm. I'm beginning to suspect that you need to find all the packing the computer came in...

They’re a twat to fit in the cold if you’ve not practised.
More importantly, why don’t we use winter tyres? Most Northern European countries legislate they have to be used in the winter months. They’re not just for snow/ice, they work better at temps below 6C

Precisely, that's why my BMW has never got stuck in the snow
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Rear wheel drive cars are the most difficult to drive in the snow. Not impossible, just not for beginners.

Same with the indicators - how do they know they work until they try, but in this case they don't want to try.

    Totally agree.
Also, not all cars can take chains.

Not many options though for 255/45/R20/105 Y on winters.
