    Rather than a headline with a question mark at the end, as is the usual when something is dubious and the Mail doesn’t want to have to publish another correction, it’s also safe to say that the Queen, along with most Europeans, is a direct descendant of Charles I.

          Previously historians were claiming that Queen Victoria was descended from King David. Old Vic was so convinced she ordered all royal males to have their knobs cut. Mind you, the Royals are mad.
