    surveillance cameras

man it is a little creepy - I'm involved in a project whereby the installation of a network enable surveillance system is using software not only to make facial identification, but before face ID the system is able to filter out gender and approximate age of individuals in a given time frame.

Yup it's for a UK client. Big brother (and all his mates) really is watching you. Germans would have a fit if this type of surveillance was deployed.

I did a PoC of some big data mining software which is used by many countries and companies for surveillance of people and you would be surprised at who does this type of thing...(due to NDA, can't actually say anymore...)
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

We don't need it in Switzerland. We have neighbours.

May go beyond mere recognition, facial expressions can reveal a lot about us

Soon we'll be able to wear a tiny AI device with micro camera and see what other people are thinking.

Well your German, see, has had bad luck with governments in the past. So no trust, you see.

Now, the Great Britain has had lots of luck with governments and have made a collective pact. The Great British Government collect this information but generally we make it quite hard to get at it. Trust see.
