I think there have been a few occasions where people posting stupid things has been met with slap-downs and this has moderated the persons behaviour. Banning a person, does what? They can easily signup with a new user name.

But they don't do they after a while. Short term sockies do, but longtimers can no longer be bothered and the daily banter that exists is no longer.

CUK general is now in the 90% club during the day & evening where once it used to be a hive of posts & banter, it's now running at just 10% of what it did in 2011/2012 based on post count analysis
