Talking about Suity, has he completed a contract yet?
Old Greg - In search of acceptance since Mar 2007. Hoping each leap will be his last.

It depends on what you define as 'completed'

Completed as in "Successfully delivered the project, waved tearfully off site with a hearty handshake and a warm sense of job well done!"

Not as mostly appears to happen "booted off site with piss on his shoes".

No, but there's a colouring book coming along quite nicely...
His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain...

And c), but only come back if you can't find anything better.

Or d) sub it to suity.

Always scary when that is a realistic option!

Suity does dot to dot! Or at least I think that's what he said, he had difficulty connecting all the dots!

Permies are slothlike & contractor haters, but cannot even tie their shoelaces.

I am bored, plus minted. Warchest is sitting at at least 9-12 months, plus I fancy the summer off

                    Do I

                    a) Take it (and rake it in)
                    b) Jack it (and stick my feet up)
                    c) Extend for 4/5 weeks and take all of July/August off, offering to come back in Sept if they want me.

In all cases, the project is still going to hit the barrier.
Wow. Turned out there was a fourth option

                    d) Turn up to be told that the programme has been a failure and they have pulled the plug. The blue chip consultancy has been given notice to quit and another 150+ contractors are to be terminated, but they still want to extend me for other projects. So they've asked me to sign the contract, keep the equipment and then take July/August off and come back in Sept when they've got new budgets.

                    You can't make it up.
