Well that's inneresting - I've always pressed the button when applying the handbrake. Thought you were supposed to.
I was always taught to do so, this is so the ratchet does not wear to prevent such issues. You can pull it one click to make sure its locked.Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.Comment
