    London Contract Market, thoughts?

Coming up on two years with current client, finding the market really quiet compared to two years ago. E.G. Same handful of CV-gathering jobs on main sites by a handful of recruitment agents; nothing much happening at Tier 1 Investment Banks; most jobs seems to be on the Asset Manager / Insurance / Buy Sides. Any thoughts anyone? Aside from thinking, "maybe I'm just crap", do people think big banks are holding off on investment in programmes until there is more Brexit certainty? Is there more of a push to reduce contractor-permie ratios, both of those and more?
Curious as to how people are finding the London investment banking IT market...

Looks like you are going to have don your Myrmillo, take up your trident and head down the nearest gladiator arena then.

Failing that, it looks like Bean isn't too successful at scratching "Mrs Sasguru's" itch, could be an opening or three for you there...

Nothing to stop you working outside of banking - retail is quite fun, similar pay, fewer hours and you don't haver to dress like you're attending a wedding every day.
