Default Quiet day yesterday in the world...

Trump publicly meets his handler and says he trusts him more than he trusts US intelligence agencies. Nah, unimportant
    Government resignations. Nah, unimportant
    Government disagreements about <<something>>. Irrelevant.
Report on fewer immigrants from the EU. Not worth talking about.

Jan Moir reviewing Mamma Mia? More important than any of the above.
Hosepipe ban up north? Front page headline.

    You'll never guess which paper:

Actually, maybe I'm being harsh. The blue banner at the top of the page - £15 peepee - may be a reference to Trump.

Duct tape holds the universe together. In quantum chromodynamics it's known as the strong force. You get it in different colours, but metallic grey is best.

I thought he meant that nobody who reads the Daily Mail cares. Can't believe he made a post where the meaning could easily be misinterpreted.

Nobody from the DM world cares if immigration from the EU is falling, because it doesn't fit their world view
Nobody from the DM world cares if Trump is in the pocket of Putin, even if he issues a complete U turn 24 hours later. He loves himself enough to have listened to what he said. Enough other people will have told him what he said. It took him 24 hours to then read out a statement to say the opposite. Not worthy of the DM, because it doesn't fit their world view
Nobody from the DM world cares if the government is collapsing from within, without the help of Jeremy Corbyn, because it doesn't fit their world view

When your world view is built on support for liars and hatred of foreigners, then news which contradicts your world view doesn't get a mention.

You're over-thinking all this. It's just about the headline letters - Look how neatly they line up:

    HOSEPIPE
    BAN HITS
    MILLIONS

Stupid me. Good alignment of letters trumps important stories every time.

Not even a mention of how hosepipe ban will hit house prices. And how its the fault of the migrants.

If migrants stopped using water then there'd be plenty for all the leaks in the system.

    British water for British people.

Some of that rainwater came from clouds that started outside UK territorial waters. We must join the KIng Kanute campaign to stop this. Or the more extreme version - UKIP.
