    Removalist?

Divorcee, 66, lends £500,000 to her Romanian toyboy lover, 29, only for him to blow it all | Daily Mail Online

A rich cougar handed £750,000 to her Romanian toyboy 37 years her junior, only to have him blow it on online gambling, luxury cars, and watches.

Christiane Shellard, 66, is taking Cristian Mihalea, 29, to court to get most of her cash back, claiming it was just a loan to help him turn his life around.

The divorcee said £500,000 was to buy a flat in her name where he could live until he could afford a mortgage and another £160,000 was for his father's medical bills.

Christiane Shellard, 66, handed £750,000 to her Romanian toyboy 37 years her junior, only to have him blow it on online gambling, luxury cars, and watches

Cristian Mihalea, 29, admitted frittering it away on online gambling, a bad gold deal, a Audemars Piguet watch costing at least £4,000, and a £42,000 GLS Mercedes for his sister

She also shelled out for a Porsche Panamera, which retails at almost £68,000, and more watches to add to the muscled playboy's collection.

Instead of going through with her plan, the former removalist dumped the money in Romanian bank accounts and lost it all gambling.

ok that is a fun new title for a van driver!

Well Cristianne didn't obviously, however if she has another £750k lying around she doesn't know what to do with I am sure I could help her out investing it.

If he has frittered it away, why is she suing him?

I wonder what Judge Judy would do?

Why are their ages so important?
Why is the guy’s nationality so important?

The story is “Gullible person gives money to someone without any form of contract and is surprised to find the money has been spent”

The details are sketchy. If she wanted a flat bought in her name, why didn’t she buy it herself? Where did her money come from (is the article implying that it was part of the divorce settlement)? Were they in a relationship? Are they still in a relationship? If not, who broke it off and why?

Indeed. The DM should be focusing on the real issue here - their house prices.

Was he claiming benefits in the UK then sending them to Europe to bolster the economy?
Does he have a link to the BBC or Corbyn?

Sorry to be a pain but WD40 is a water repellent, not a lubricant.
