Back in town, what happened to PCG?

Getting back in the game after a 4-5 year absence, used to be head over to PCG and use their one stop shop monthly payment for everything (insurance, accountants, IR35 help, contract reviews etc) which was really good and easy.

Now it looks like they changed to IPSE and do one year payments but just for some IR35 cover.

What happened? Anywhere doing similar to the old set up these days?

What exactly do you want from them? QDOS cover most of that but don't think you can pay monthly for some of it. Accountant yes, dunno about PI and TLC35.

It's not exactly expensive though so why the issue with paying it upfront and not worrying about it for a year?

I liked that you went one place, had one payment, everything included and felt like it would be a comprehensive and effective in the instance HMRC wanted to explore IR35 status (ie as soon as you got a letter you contacted PCG and because everything was under one roof it would be easy to co-ordinate).

Don't understand why it stopped? Was there a reason?

That's what IPSE do, isn't it? Scroll down to the Limited Company membership table of benefits. (And IPSE: put some meaningful id attributes on those sections so I can link to the specific content in the page, rather than just the top.)

Looks like annual membership for tax investigation protection, lobbying, some other minor insurances etc?

Used to be a monthly fee for a one stop shop service for everything you needed to run as a private ltd.

Be sad if that's not an option anymore

              Ring the office and ask.

Try bleeding your radiators. See if that helps?

You can pay monthly for all of it.

Except for cover for illnesses related to licking the chutney spoon.

Why monthly payments? Is it because you want to cancel as soon as you get a permie job?
