    Default IR35 and home working

    Home working seems very popular for staff here at this Public Sector client I am at, but it is not permitted for contractors (even IR35 contractors).

    Just remember that if you work from home for more than 24 months, you won't be able to claim expenses unless you move house to another part of the country that is significantly further away than your old house.

    What if he spends less than 40% of his time at the clients over x amount of months?
