Well she had better start putting her hand a bit deeper into her pocket then. That along with forking up the spondooleys to pay OUR share of the bills once we leave.
Bearing in mind the fact that the Germans as a nation are traditionally champing at the bit to get involved in pointless military escapades, they have become increasingly tardy these past few decades. Most out of character.

An interesting read. It is a pity that none of the current crop of politicians in the UK are able to effectively mobilize the youth, or youth vote, of this country. Corbyn manages to get some of the young to vote, but he is hardly the swashbuckling ambitious winner that Hitler was (at that time).

Ironic on the day the EU announces a powerful new army, the UK raises the white flag of surrender and signs a document that basically gives the EU full control of its laws. At least we know the agreement will be adequately enforced.

Only fools would make light of a German-lead EU armed forces, unlikely to invade Poland again but quite likely to use it on citizens of Europe if they get out of line.

But "Do you support a European Army?" wasn't a question in the referendum. Voting to Leave the EU means literally just that. Nothing about European Armies. That can still happen.
