    Fitted wardrobes

Anyone had any fitted wardrobes recently and care to name a supplier?

Looking to fit main bedroom and kids bedroom with a sliding wardrobe and normal doors in the 2 other bedrooms (one being a loft).

    Located just west of London.

    thanks

      I used these guys:

Fitted Bedrooms & Kitchens | Berks & Bucks | Fitzgeralds Interiors

      They were excellent.

The big boys will just sub it to a local carpenter & joiner anyways, and add their own fat commission on top

You are better off going direct to a decent carpenter & joiner, and getting them to help you source the best materials

There are sites around where you can make contact with them, and look at their reviews

I would have thought that buying fitted wardrobes falls into line more with custom kitchen deliveries.

...Unless the wardrobe is going to be used by the husband to see what his wife is up to having read what's in her diary.

I don't recall. I had two installed into different rooms.

It's a small family company. The thing I liked was they provided good quality products and really know the "domain". I didn't know it was possible to have that much knowledge or passion about a wardrobe.

I do remember though that they were substantially cheaper than the "big name" companies for a much, much better product.

Either way it's money for nothing for these brothers in arms.
