      I'm pretty sure that on the Frankfurt/Hamburg line, the train maxed at 300km/h.

      But it's true that as a result of DB being so crap, there's been a resurgence in coach travel.

        That's the great thing about being a Brit in Germany. Your expectations are so low that when your service is +/- 1 hour per timetable you're like living the dream.

              But being a Brit in Switzerland, +/-1 minutes is just about acceptable. To be honest though, if a train is late, most people assume that there's something wrong with their watch.
