    Default HMRC trying it on with self-assessment

    Homeless man fined by HMRC for filing his tax return late

    A judge branded HMRC behaviour "ridiculous" and "a scandal" after the tax office attempted to fine a homeless man £1600 for filing his tax return late.

    I'm just loving it how all the papers have been turning on thus tulip government. The Telegraph normally goes after HMRC while The Sun is going after the DWP and Universal Credit.
