Ah, just realised the OP has history of "Asking for help", but even in the face of good advice about cars, he'll get a BMW anyway...

I tend to buy based on requirements, less about the label.

Up until my current car, I'd never had more than 2 cars of the same brand before. I've owned Japanese x1, Korean x1, British x1, German x4, French x1 and Italian x3 cars. 8 different brands, many different reasons for each one

Exactly the same for me. I think I love the one I've got, get a new one (different brand) and love that. In fact thinking back I've had a different manufacturer/country every change, never twice on the trot. Sticking to a single brand has absolutely no appeal to me. To many good cars out there for that nowadays. Maybe back in the day when marques stuck out above the rest of dross but not nowadays.

That said I've never been a fan of Citroens. Look good on the outside but the insides and dash have never floated my boat. Always seem to try to be too funky and get it wrong.

Oh, no. I don't remember that. Mainly around the tax advantages. Still too expensive for what they are. Wrong price bracket for 'normal' cars IMHO.

e.g. If you require an SUV, you could get 3 new Dacia Dusters for the price of an X5, and they come with indicators as standard.
Yeah but then you'd have three horrible cars instead of one.

This is supposed to be a contractor forum. It has to be a Range Rover V8. Or if you want to look really flash, but you have no idea about cars, get a Porsche Cayenne.

                      You lot...
