1. Previous Gig - £X a day.
Outside IR35, ltd company, 120 miles roundtrip, expenses, low salary, dividends etc.
Take home minus travel costs = X
2. Current gig - £X + 35% (client hiked it in April 2017 because contractors left and they had no choice).
Inside IR35, umbrella, 30 miles roundtrip, no expenses, all income goes through as PAYE.
Take home minus travel costs = X (PRETTY MUCH THE SAME)
Could be argued that current position is better. I'm not going to get investigated for IR35 am I?Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment
