    Phishing reject

Got a phishing email this morning. Normally I junk them but as it was for Nat West and I'm a customer and feeling in a good citizen mood checked what their advice was. It was to forward the email to them and to the cyber crime reporting centre. OK so I did that and both addresses have blocked the email refusing to accept it How do they expect to receive phishing intelligence to a dedicated email address when its configured to reject such emails?

Most places ask you to attach the dodgy email to a normal email rather than just forward, strange advice from NatWest

They're probably investigating you right now and building their case against you for sending phishing emails.
