Yellow Engine Light - Failed MoT

Just a quick heads up chaps.

If your Engine Warning light is lit when you take your car for its MoT, it will fail.

No ifs, no buts, fail. So, if a mechanic fixes a problem but doesn't clear down your codes then you're looking at a fail.

I was told this back in November. Warning light was for an o2 sensor. Hope the manufacturers take note that warning should be stored and retrieved a service times.

Apparently racing slicks and bonnet exit exhaust is also an MOT failure.

Just as a matter of interest, who are you labelling "racist"?

Lest the word lose its real impact, would it not perhaps be better to reserve it for when it is truly needed?
