There's a difference between 'deserving it' and 'behaving inappropriately and having consequences that you really shouldn't complain about because you created the situation.' That's probably lost on you.

She certainly did not 'deserve' it. What she got was a forced but not painful march out of the room, the opportunity to be a heroine to all her friends, probably multiple interviews on the BBC, Guardian, etc, a huge crowdfunding effort to sue him and everyone who didn't stop him and probably the police for not being there to stop him, and the opportunity to charge all kinds of interesting expenses to that crowdfunding account. If she has a brain or an intelligent handler she'll maybe even write a book.

She doesn't deserve any of that. She didn't deserve to get beat up, either, but in fact, she wasn't beat up, and he didn't grope her or anything like that, either.

She'll get far better than she 'deserves.'

The security that prevented the rest of them from getting closer by simply putting their arms out, and not pushing people into pillars or grabbing them by the back or the neck.

Don’t tell us, you’re commenting on the entire thread without actually watching the whole incident?

Actually, both individuals have provided a public service. People have temporarily forgotten to argue about Johnson/Hunt and Brexit. That can't be a bad thing.

Why can't it be just like the good old days where they sort it out there and then? Today's snowflake society does my chunk in.

Or they could ask their accountants?

I did watch it. The security team grabbed protesters by the arms to pull them and forced them along by using the front of their body. Hardly the most restrained.

The protester was being ushered out by Mr Field she attempted to turn around so he grabbed the back of her neck.

Thugs 'dressed as women' hurled 'acid' in a market trader's face | Daily Mail Online

Thugs 'dressed as women' hurled 'acid' in a market trader's face as the 45-year-old father set up his stall in east London this morning

                    • The supposed acid attack happened at Walthamstow Market at 6.40am
                    • 'Skirt-wearing' attackers tapped him on the shoulder before hurling the liquid
                    • The victim was rushed to hospital but the thugs ran off and escaped in a car
                    hmmm

By ushered out you mean thrown against a pillar?

He should not have been involved in the first place.

I expect MPs to be above bar room brawl tactics. Its the Mansion House - not the ten bells.....
