Boris Johnson: Premiership will be the start of a golden age - BBC News

The promise of a golden age is a typical start for most fascists in power. You fuel the people with fantasy and hope but there is no substance. We have joined Erdogan's Turkey, Oban's Hungary, Salvini's Italy, Trump's Ameria and the Saudi's as the extreme right wing governments of the world. This is not who we are and the sooner this lot are out of government the better. Britain deserves better.

        Actually you're all saved....

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Jeremy Corbyn once signed a motion backing an asteroid to wipe out humanity - and it's looking less crazy every day The Poke

                  Better than this nugget though?

Only Banks, Corbyn and John McDonnell signed the motion, but with a quick glance at world events, we’re beginning to wonder if they were just ahead of the curve.

                      Love it:

for reasons that are perhaps understandable, some Tory MPs are perhaps worried that Johnson does not always mean what he says.
