Anyone had a gig at CYBG and/or VM?

I know I should post this in Contracts, sorry. I just figure I'll get more traffic here.

Has anyone worked with Clydesdale Bank in the past, or Virgin Money? I am talking to someone about a potential role on the integration piece but won't have been to any of the office locations before starting, if I go for it. Anyone know much about the Gosforth site?

Worked for CB (or NAG to be more precise) a few years ago, on several occasions.

They were always ultra pedantic and slow working thorough projects, double dotted every I and triple crossed every T, then chucked loads of non working tulipe into their production environments.

Clydebank office is a tulip hole, Guild Hall in Glasgow is OK. Don't crack jokes or laugh in the workplace and seriously avoid hilariously funny comments in meetings :-)

i got terminated (five day notice period, nine days of my contract remaining !!) for cracking a seriously hilarious line at a change review board :-)

        NAG?

I will try my best to reign in my humour but that won't be easy. it's a curse.

I sense there may be more to that story...

I started in IT at NAG (National Australia Group - the parent of CB) in Leeds. But then...it was 1998 and I cant really remember what they were like...so just ignore this comment

Don't believe you. You'll need to post piccies to provide evidence...

Post them to me privately so I can weed out the dodgy ones...
