    World economy on the brink

This is the sound of a central bank cutting 50 basis points

Economies at peak boom are cutting interest rates aggressively due to "uncertainty"

Do the central banks know something they're not telling us?

Gold is on a bit of a roll which is also a bit ominous.

The chickens (10 years of easy money ZIRP and QE) may be finally coming home to roost.

FIAT currency has as much inherent worth as Bitcoin.

Indeed. Except there’s a lot lot lot lot less Bitcoin. And you can move it anywhere in the world without sky high fees.. in minutes.

Not quite though unlike crypto currencies, fiat currencies are demanded by governments for payment of taxes - this gives it a level of value as people compete with each other to obtain it.

Looks like a currency event is on the horizon, China has been accused of manipulating it's currency lower but is in fact spending a fortune to keep it higher.

EM currencies look like falling big time, others some too leaving king dollar the last man standing.

Gold could easily hit $1600 /oz before the year is out.
