You might not want to get both sides done at once though as it can cause people to bite their tongue/cheek unknowingly so they may ask you to do 2 trips.

Don't worry about threats of losing nerve sensation - that's just arse covering.
Don't bother with the anaesthetic. They're just trying to overcharge.

Really you should do a poll. If you get enough votes for "AndyW should remove them with pliers" will you do it?

Apparently a cup of green tea beforehand and you feel no pain.

Sure, but you need a Tabasco mouthwash afterwards.

                      Great advice.

I had no swelling, not a drop of blood and next day ate a rump steak and was able to wear a full face crash helmet.

The secret is a maxillofacial surgeon. I would not have it done under local, in the chair, in case of any complications.
My dentist is the maxillofacial surgeon of the practice. He reckoned that local should be sufficient. Given my experience of general and rohypnal, I think I'd prefer local.

Yeah. I know (and I think you're confusing me with someone who gives a flying ****). But you somehow have this need to tell me at every opportunity. Is it the dementia that's causing you to forget?
