    CUK Podcast Recommendation thread.....

Listen to a lot of podcasts, but new client means new commute of about an hour each way (actual travel time is about 20 mins but train timetables don't line up)

    Obligatory ones:

No such thing as a fish
Curious cases of Rutherford and Fry
    BBC Friday Night Comedy
    BBC Comedy of the Week
    Infinite Monkey Cage
    The Archers
    FT Money
    BBC Money Box
    Digital Planet
    Guardian Chips with everything
    Evil Genius with Russell Kane
    Fighting Talk
    Page 94 (Private Eye)
    Blood on the Tracks

Could of specific ones (Arsecast, various HCD ones)

Also just finally got on the "My dad wrote a prono" bandwagon, after hearing good things about it for ages but realising there is over 140 episodes to catchup on I've not bothered before, so glad I have done!

If you like the Archers, you'll like DumTeeDum. It's a funny, weekly round up and discussion of events in Ambridge.

Sounds like you might like Planet Money as well, it's like Freakenomics.

Answer Me This! is classic comedy

In Our Time, from Radio 4.

Different subject each week, round-table discussion hosted by Melvyn Bragg with 3-4 expert (really expert) guests. Each week could be anything from quantum physics to a history of the Achaemenid empire to 14th century religious art. Almost always far more interesting than you might expect, and literally hundreds of episodes available.

One for the list: The Boring Talks

There's only about 40 episodes, each is around 15 minutes long and consists of someone talking about something they find fascinating that others might find boring.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore
