True. Thatcher, though, is the embodiment of the conservative right wing so gets brought up metaphorically, and rightly so.

Obviously this is not the case with Danny Alexander

No, she’s turning in her grave.

As for the rest of the post, there are some on here who would vote Tory (or further right) no matter what. Their argument is “But they are better than the other lot”

Kinda ironic that the loud voices on a sub-forum here saying that we must change with no concern about what the change will mean are the same ones who say we must not change, for fear that the next crock will do a better job than the ones who have been screwing us over for the last decade while always blaming anyone but them.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

          This ....

Those who support 'B' argue for change by voting for the same useless politicians. If they really wanted change they would grow some, and vote for the Brexit Party.

As for the OP ... mate, you're p1ssing in the wind with this lot. They will vote for any old crock of shyte so long as it wears their tribal rosette.

For me it's quite simple (I am a simple guy ). If revoking A50 is your biggest cause, vote Lib Dem. Any other vote is hypocritical. If leaving EU is your biggest cause vote for Farage's party, again any other vote is hypocritical. If it's hospitals, vote Corbyn, if it's pushing through harsher IR35 rules, vote Tory.

Too many voters say what they don't want, vote 'against' another party but don't vote 'for' a party. Then complain afterwards.

As a sight aside, there was a news story last night saying that 25% of black and asians have not registered to vote. Some were interviewed (can't recall which town) and they were saying things like .... no one ever talks to us about what we want etc. Well fella, if you're not registered to vote and you're not going to have any influence over the election, you can't expect any of the parties to waste their resources asking you what you want.

          Sometimes, I despair with people.

Agreed. Anything to avoid a repeat of the last 4 years.

I could be here all night doing that, given how little you DO know.
