Bring it all up to 18, or at least have proper apprenticeships like the old YTS for those that want to end their education at 16 and are more suited to manual/dextrous jobs like mechanics and plumbers. Standardise everything at 18, including the driving licence - also, you can have sex at 16 but not watch someone else have it until you're 18. Another anomaly. Apparently that ISIS bride wasn't old enough to know what she was doing at 16 according to Korbyn, while also wanting to give 16-year-olds the vote. Needs to make his mind up really.

Nothing wrong with that, of course, it's a great check; but what isn't said is that several million of the poorest citizens - none of whom are probably ever likely to vote Conservative - have no photo id and can't afford to get one (3.5m have no photo ID at all and 11m don't have a passport or driving licence). So unless a very cheap or free form of acceptable id is introduced, and I don't see any mention of that in the manifesto, this is effectively vote rigging by the back door. Alternatively, it could be a way of forcing through a national ID card system ("of course we want everyone to vote, therefore everyone should have an ID card"), which the UK public have previously made clear they certainly don't want.
I see nothing wrong with a national ID card - not sure why people wouldn't want one. You have a national insurance number once you're sixteen, so why not make it an extension of that? Not sure what rights it infringes, other than those of the dodgy.
