More to the point, I don't think anybody in the world expects a full and transparent investigation from Iran.

I'm sure that using bulldozers at the crash scene is improving the investigation no end.

Because it's one of the main targets in case of an attack you need to have some defense like an anti missile system

Untrue. (as usual)

The plane crash was in Iran, it is up to the Iranian Aviation Authority to investigate. They do not release the black box to someone else.

Normally they would include the aircraft manufacturer in the investigation, but they certainly wouldn't release it to some random bloke you know down the pub.

Tehran's nearest land border is several hundred kilometres away. An enemy aircraft crosses the border undetected to shoot down a civilian aircraft way inland? Come on...

Some jumpy 20 year old who thinks they're on the cusp of WWIII sees an unknown contact. May his SSR was faulty, maybe it wasn't on, maybe he didn't have any ot maybe it it overlaid the data beautifully complete with ADS-B out or indeed maybe the transponder had gone tech. Either way, it's not a stretch to imagine they panicked, the flight wasn't on his list and he hit the button.

Tin foil hat time: what if a certain country, known for using drones, was flying one near/on a similar trajectory to the plane - either by accident or in an effort to conceal it?

(trust me, there's crazier ideas out there than that one)
