    Default IR35 decisions….

More delays than a Northern Rail train – Still not sure if will be renewed at the end of next week and if will be inside or outside.
On the plus side I have a good offer to go to – slightly lower rate but outside and a new skillset.
How’s everyone else faring in these choppy waters?

I hope things work out for you. My offer on the table is a little quirky as it's 3-4 days a week so I may be able to swing a couple of days from current clientco if I need to walk.

From what I can see on the job boards, most public sector contracts are outside and most private sector contracts are inside.

Hmm.... Not quite. No public sector directs are but plenty through consultancy routes to sit ar the same desk seem to be. Strange times.

I'm seeing more and more public sector roles that were advertised as outside are now inside

Right. Makes perfect sense because the private sector is no longer a safety net.

To me it seems too quick for the public sector to have picked up (by themselves) the change in mood...
merely at clientco for the entertainment
