I have no intention of going to hospital unless they're wheeling me directly to the mortuary. I'll take my chances at home with the meths. 99% alcohol blood level should keep the virus on its toes.

Only risk to my plan is avoiding a serious illness or heart attack forcing me into hospital before I'm dead.

Got a month's supply of pot noodles and kleenex (for the sniffles ). Not prepped, I always have that supply to hand. Self-quarantine is no big deal as long as the internet stays on.

They don't even need to do that. Big banks announcing mass layoffs following poor performance for the previous year. They can't blame that on coronavirus.
A national disaster story creates a great smokescreen to release bad news and avoid public anger.

I'm convinced this is a conspiracy to try to sucker more money for the NHS. All of these measures far outweigh the seriousness of the outbreak. It's almost as if it being used as an exercise to test the response to something more serious.
