    Booking Holidays

I'm on the lookout for cheap deals that I can afford to lose.

Long haul / short haul? Or just anywhere that's warm, sunny and not here?

Short haul, hot or cold, skiing in France is probably still ok.

If you'd said last week, I know of a couple who have cancelled a ski trip - high end accommodation, private lessons, etc. It cost them over £3k, I think they were looking for about £1500 for it.

(And yes, it was to Italy, but nowhere near the 10 towns that get all the press.)

It's the best time to visit Milan, Venice etc. No tourists to irritate you and can walk about in pedestrian free streets. A remote chance of some pathogen infection but then you have that risk anywhere u go.

Not much use visiting Milan or Venice when all the tourist attractions are closed

Dubrovnik might be nice without the cruise ships...
